From politicians to celebrities, we're constantly searching for that perfect person to follow. But time and again, leaders disappoint us, causing us to search for someone else who can do what they couldn’t. And it’s been this way for thousands of years! In this series, we follow the story of ancient Israel’s pursuit to find a perfect leader and draw out timeless truths that speak directly to the struggles we face today. We’ll learn lessons about our own temptations to compromise and the importance of wisdom in both life and leadership. Ultimately, we'll discover why trusting in God's wisdom and plan is far more reliable than placing our confidence in human leaders.
