This February, 2024, a talented group of individuals from Grace who are looking to serve God through our trade skills have the privilege of traveling to Guatemala with Grace Church alongside MANNA Worldwide. The majority of the trip will be spent serving in feeding centers across multiple different impoverished villages. These centers serve as a safe place where children walk after school to receive the only meal they will get each day, to play, and to receive encouragement and education from adult leaders who care for them. We will also get to visit an orphanage that Grace helped build and has supported for over 13 years!
At the orphanage and feeding center, the children are taught about the love of Jesus because MANNA recognizes that, while these children’s physical needs must be met in order to rescue them from poverty, their deepest need is their spiritual need: to know the love of Jesus. This trip provides an opportunity to meet the physical and spiritual needs of communities that are often left out.
