Message Notes:
Legacy isn’t what you leave when you die—it’s what you build while you live. God multiplies what’s in your hands when you surrender it to Him.
Big Idea:
[2 Corinthians 9:10] “For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.”
[James 1:17] “Whatever is good and perfect comes down to us from God our Father.”
[Deuteronomy 8:18] “Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful.”
Everything begins with God.
My job isn’t to manufacture blessings—it’s to plant obedience.
God never asks for what you don’t have—He multiplies what you do.
“Is this seed to plant or bread to enjoy?”
Question:
[2 Corinthians 9:11–12] “You will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will thank God. So two good things will result: the needs of believers will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God.”
[Acts 4:34–35] “There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.”
Generosity meets needs and multiplies worship.
What you release will always outlive you.
[ 6:20] “Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy.”
Matthew
[2 Corinthians 9:13–15] “As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity … will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ.”
[1 Chronicles 29:10–18] (Highlights) “Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord… Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us.”
The ultimate goal of generosity is worship.
Legacy isn’t about how much I give—it’s about how much of me I surrender.
Recognize God as Provider.Release what you’ve been given.Remain surrendered to His purpose.
You don’t need wealth to build a legacy—you need willingness.
Everything we keep will be lost, but everything we give to God will last.
Build something with your life that will outlast you.___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
